Garden of Eden is Tonga's first ever health food shop!!

I'm an Aussie, and my husband is a Tongan by birth, but had lived in Australia for the last 20 years. 

In January 2012, we brought our three young children to spend a year in Tonga, learning their father's culture and spending time with extended family. We enjoyed our year so much, that we decided to stay longer.

We saw that there was a real need for healthier food options in Tonga, so we decided to take the plunge and open up a health food business.

What a learning curve we are on!!

I used to be the one that became frustrated when shops always seemed to be out-of-stock of the exact product I wanted. Now, I know exactly how hard it is to try and anticipate what stock you'll need, at least a month in advance.

Garden of Eden is the first step in our vision of a holistic health revival in Tonga. We are big supporters of traditional herbal medicine, organic food and natural living, and nourishing the mind-body-soul through pure foods, positive thoughts and loving environment.
